Bob Eiland, President/Founder
Bob founded Eiland Global Search (EGS) in 1987, after 7 years of working as an independent contingency recruiter. At EGS, he built an industry-acclaimed team specializing in mission-critical retainer-based searches for high tech companies. He has helped to build executive teams at Microsoft, Lotus/IBM, BBN/GTE, Frictionless/SAP, 3COM, Banyan, Bladelogic, Software.com and a host of other high tech companies.
Bob's expertise is grounded in 5 years of social work, during which time he set up and directed an innovative community-based human services program for the Town of Weston, MA. Author of the career guidebook Rhyme and Reason, Bob has created and run hiring / job-search workshops that have proven popular at corporations as well as institutions including Harvard University. He donates time to a variety of charitable causes, and is the founder of the Gazebo Players, a theater group performing, among other things, annual Shakespeare in the Park productions. A published playwright, Bob's Bachelor's degree is in English from Tufts University.

Wayne Haubner, CTO, Frictionless Commerce / Technology Director, SAP
Wayne, a former EGS Elite client, is
responsible for providing the strategic technology vision for
Frictionless' products and services within SAP, which recently acquired Frictionless. With over 15 years of experience
in commercial product development, he is highly skilled in the overall
architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale,
high-performance distributed software solutions. Prior to Frictionless,
he was a Senior Systems Architect at Lotus Development Corporation,
where he worked on numerous eBusiness applications. He also held
senior development positions at Boston Technology Inc., Marcam Inc.,
and Digital Equipment Corporation. One of his products generated $600M
its first quarter, and another, a 24-hour/day global web-based
collaborative environment, generated $25M its first year. Wayne's
track record is as a leader and innovator; he's held significant
responsibility for 7 v.1's over his career. He holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Computer Science from Eastern Kentucky University.
Eric Livingston, Consulting Analyst, Hurwitz and Associates
Former CTO and Vice President of Commerce One Global Services, Eric
Livingston is an expert in architecting, designing, and building
enterprise-class solutions. He is currently a consulting analyst with
Hurwitz and Associates. Prior to Commerce One, Eric was a Principal at
American Management Systems, where he served as the Chief Architect and
Development Manager for several multimillion dollar custom development
projects. Eric has deep expertise in e-Commerce and related
technologies and architectures, including C/C++, Java, J2EE, XML, and
all aspects of e-Commerce security.
